Craig Murphy joined the Board of Directors in July 2024. He is an official of the New Zealand Treasury. He has 15 years’ experience working on material issues for the New Zealand Treasury, including the New Zealand Government’s response to the Global Financial Crisis, the Initial Public Offering of State-Owned Enterprises and central government support for the Christchurch earthquake recovery.
More recently, he has led public housing transactions, the Government of New Zealand’s response to COVID-19 for large businesses, and New Zealand’s Investment Management System, which included New Zealand’s capital investment pipeline and the capital budget process.
Before joining the New Zealand Treasury, he worked in ANZ’s Institutional banking division for six years. He has a master’s degree in finance from New Zealand’s Massey University.
