The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) aims to lead by example in managing its carbon emissions and regularly disclosing the impact of its internal operations. AIIB is continuously monitoring and verifying its carbon emissions on an annual basis, disclosing this information to the public. This series of carbon footprint annual reports provide a comprehensive analysis of the carbon footprint generated by the internal operations over the past year at the Bank's Permanent Headquarters in Beijing, and its other offices.
Since 2019, AIIB has made tremendous efforts to integrate sustainability into its Annual Meetings and events through the Act Green Together (AGT) Initiative, the Bank's sustainable event management framework, aligning with ISO 20121 and sustainable event best practices.
