The Corporate Procurement Policy is formulated to govern the procurement process of all goods, works and services including consulting services required for the operation of the Bank’s headquarters. Opening competitive tendering following the best international practices is the normal method for corporate procurement while less competitive methods may be considered in exceptional cases as described in the Policy. AIIB has needs for supplied goods and increasing demands for general services as well as consulting services. Procurement notices and information of goods, works and services are posted on AIIB’s website in advance to attract the interest of potential vendors, suppliers and service providers. Consulting assignments and positions for individual consultants are also posted on the website.
