Ke Fang is Director General of the Operational, Policy, Portfolio and Results Department. He oversees operational policies and processes; investment operations process data and digitalization; corporate portfolio monitoring, and results and development effectiveness; valuation and know your customer (. Fang has held several managerial roles in AIIB, most recently as Director General of the Portfolio Management Department. Prior to joining AIIB in July 2016, Fang worked for the World Bank for more than 15 years, holding various responsibilities, including as Global Lead for Urban Mobility, Lead Transport Specialist and head of the India transport team (based in New Delhi) and was instrumental in many innovative investment activities in various countries in Asia and Africa. Fang holds a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Tsinghua University, where he was a lecturer and research staff from 1997 to 2000. He was also a SPURS Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2000 to 2001. Fang is from the People’s Republic of China.
