Board of Directors

Mr. Jisung MOON joined the Board of Directors in August 2024. He is currently the director general for the Development Finance Bureau at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Korea. Before assuming his current position, he served as the deputy director general for the International Finance Bureau at the ministry from 2023 to 2024.

He began his career in government service in 1995, at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and held various positions -- as the director of the Foreign Exchange Market Division (2016-2018) and director of the International Finance Division (2018-2019).

He also has a lengthy experience working in international financial institutions. From 2009 to 2014, he was an advisor to the executive director at the International Monetary Fund and was a senior economist at the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development from 2019 to 2022.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the American University in Washington, D.C. He graduated from the London Business School and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Seoul National University in Korea.
