AIIB Results Architecture – Measuring and Communicating Results

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank’s (AIIB) Results Architecture provides the institutional framework for measuring, managing and communicating the development results of AIIB’s operations in alignment with its mission of “Financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow.

The Results Architecture ensures accountability, holding the Bank and its project teams accountable for delivering results by publishing aggregated project completion success ratings, as a key part of AIIB’s overall financing impact in its Corporate Scorecard. It also enhances communication of transparent and accessible information on selected aggregated indicators to showcase the development outcomes and outputs from AIIB financed projects.

It consists of two levels:

  1. Project level, which focuses on the outcomes and outputs from individual projects, and;
  2. Corporate level, which summarizes AIIB’s contribution in terms of supporting its clients achieve project development outcomes.

With clear results indicators, reporting processes, and feedback mechanisms, the Results Architecture strengthens AIIB’s ability to demonstrate the value and impact of its financing on clients and stakeholders. It also reinforces the Bank’s commitment to learning and accountability, ensuring that evidence and data continuously inform strategy and operations.

The Results Architecture will continue to evolve as AIIB expands its portfolio and enhances its impact measurement systems, maintaining alignment with global development practices and the needs of its Members.
