Build Your Career at AIIB: Applications for the 2025 Young Talent Programs Are Now Open

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) welcomes early-career professionals interested in building a career in infrastructure financing and development to apply for the 2025 Young Talent Programs.

The Graduate Program (GP) is a two-year program that combines professional rotations, hands-on project experience, classroom training, and mentorship. This year, the GP has been expanded to 10 different tracks across the fields of investment, finance, risk management, strategy, environmental and social development, gender-focused social development and communications, with multiple vacancies available. Participants will be able to gain relevant hands-on experience and will be trained by their respective host departments. They will also have an opportunity to rotate through various functions, allowing them to gain a holistic understanding of AIIB's operations. The program will not only help them become technically proficient in their chosen field but also allow them to contribute directly to AIIB’s mission of financing sustainable and innovative infrastructure projects across Asia and beyond.

To qualify for the Graduate Program, applicants should have the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 1 year relevant experience
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written, and a passion for international development work

The Legal Associate Program (LAP) offers a path for young legal professionals to develop expertise in international development law. This two-year rotational program will provide legal associates experience with AIIB’s legal frameworks and operational policies. They will receive comprehensive training and meaningful assignments and may have the opportunity to go on field missions.

To qualify for the Legal Associate Program, applicants should have the following minimum requirements:

  • An advanced law degree
  • Minimum of two years of full-time, relevant legal professional experience and admitted to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written, and a passion for international development work

AIIB will host two virtual events where interested applicants can learn more about these programs and have a chance to ask their questions with AIIB representatives. Both events will feature current program participants sharing their experiences, detailed overviews of the application process and live Q&A sessions with AIIB’s recruitment team.
