Technical Reports

AIIB aims to lead by example in managing its carbon emissions and regularly disclosing the impact of its internal operations. This series provides a comprehensive analysis of the carbon footprint generated by the Bank’s internal operations over the past year at its Permanent Headquarters in Beijing, and its other offices.
Produced by AIIB’s Sustainability and Fiduciary Solutions, this series provides statistics and analysis of procurement contracts which are financed by AIIB through Sovereign-backed Financings, including standalone and cofinanced projects as well as Project Preparation Special Fund grants. The AIIB Procurement Policy upholds the Bank’s procurement principles such as value-for-money and fit-for-purpose.
Act Green Together is a customized sustainable event management framework. AIIB first implemented it in 2019 and formalized and developed it further during the 2023 and 2024 annual meetings held in person in Egypt and Uzbekistan, respectively. Acknowledging the economic, social, and environmental impacts of the event, AIIB has embedded sustainability as a core principle in its event management framework in line with ISO 20121 and sustainable event best practices. AIIB collaborates with host countries to design and deliver high-quality, sustainable annual meetings that align with local conditions and sustainability goals.
This series provides an overview of AIIB’s procurement of goods, works and services, including consulting services required by AIIB to fulfill its institutional requirements using the Bank’s administrative budget, capital expenditure budget and other funding sources administered by AIIB.
