Jian Ping Huang is the Bank’s Chief Information Officer and Head of IT and Data. She provides a strategic vision for AIIB’s approach to AI, data and digital technologies, designing and overseeing the implementation of the Bank’s multi-year digital roadmap. Her role includes advising Senior Management and the Board of Directors to help AIIB grow as a digital-first knowledge-driven multilateral development bank. She leads the Bank’s digital transformation and data initiatives, ensuring that the data and digital architecture supports business needs. She oversees all data and IT functions, while promoting an agile and high-performing technology culture and strong stakeholder engagement. She brings with her more than 20 years of experience from both private and public organizations, including IBM and the World Bank, where she was part of the Information Technology Group responsible for enterprise system implementation and operation. She holds a master’s degree from George Washington University. Huang is from the People’s Republic of China.
